El castillo de Vilbel se encuentra en la ciudad del mismo nombre, a orillas del r\u00edo Nidda. El foso del castillo amurallado se alimentaba del r\u00edo, pero hoy en d\u00eda hay un parque entre ambos que permite rodear completamente el castillo. El castillo de Vilbel data del siglo XII y fue ampliado en el siglo XIII. En la actualidad, el complejo est\u00e1 en parte en ruinas y en parte restaurado. Se conservan el muro del escudo, la muralla del anillo, una torre de defensa, el patio del castillo, la puerta y partes del palacio. Los hermosos e impresionantes terrenos, junto con el parque, invitan a visitarlos y a quedarse.<\/p>
